The Taber Type Abrasion Tester is used to perform accelerated wear testing. Referenced in numerous international standards, materials include plastics, coatings, laminates, leather, paper, ceramics, carpeting, safety glazing, and many others. The method is using the standard knife to cut the specimen, and then using the regulated models of grinding wheel with loading weight to be abrased. Remove the specimen after rotation to reach a certain number, and then observe the condition of the specimen or compare.
