The Technical Services Department (TSD) at the Central Metallurgical Research and Development Institute (CMRDI) has been a cornerstone of support for academic institutions and the industrial sectors since 2003. With a focus on chemical, physical, and mechanical characterization, the department handles a diverse range of materials, contributing to critical advancements in both research and development. Each year, TSD conducts approximately 6,000 sample tests, ensuring the reliability and quality of results that serve private and governmental industries alike. In addition to testing, TSD produces around 400 conformity assessment reports and performs 500 witness tests annually, all while adhering to local and international standards. These services have established the department as a trusted partner, continually advancing the field of materials characterization and analysis.
